The multi-starrer of Daggubati family has been in the discussion for some time. Movie Moghul Dr D Ramanaidu wanted to see Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati together in a film but they could not find the right script. The film is finally happening as per the current update. Rana Daggubati himself revealed the news during his recent interview. The actor said that the official announcement about the project would be made very soon. The scriptwork of the film is recently completed and the details of the director are currently kept under wraps.

Rana said that he and Venkatesh loved the script completely and is a perfect film for a multi-starrer. Rana recently joined the sets of his next film Viraata Parvam which has ten days of shoot left. Venu Udugula is the director and Sai Pallavi plays the heroine. Venkatesh too returned back to work after seven months and he is currently shooting for Naarappa in a studio. Srikanth Addala is the director and the film releases next year. Suresh Babu will produce the prestigious multi-starrer of the Daggubati family. Venky and Rana are all excited about the film.
