Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is returning back to mainstream cinema after a gap of four years. His comeback film is titled Vakeel Saab and is the remake of Bollywood film Pink. Sriram Venu is the director and the shoot of the film got completed last year. The post-production work of the movie reached the final stages and the promotional activities are happening at a fast pace. Shruti Haasan is the leading lady and Prakash Raj, Nivetha Thomas, Anjali, Ananya will be seen in other important roles. The film's director Sriram Venu made several changes to the script after Pawan Kalyan came on to the board.

The makers have planned to shoot a special promotional song for the film that can be used during the promotions. Pawan Kalyan too will be present in this special song. Thaman is composing the song currently. All the released singles are smashing hits and Vakeel Saab is carrying massive expectations. The theatrical and the non-theatrical rights of Vakeel Saab are sold for record prices. Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects are presenting Vakeel Saab and Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations are the producers. Vakeel Saab is slated for April 9th release across the globe.
