Nandamuri Balakrishna tasted a series of flops in the recent years. The actor is teaming up with mass helmer Boyapati Srinu for the third time after two blockbusters Simha and Legend. The film is titled Akhanda and is said to be a mass entertainer that is high on action. Made on a budget of Rs 70 crores, the film is in the final stages of shoot. The entire shooting portions of the film will be completed by the end of June as per the update. Pragya Jaiswal and Poorna are the leading ladies in Akhanda and the film is carrying terrific expectations.
The title roar of Akhanda was released during Ugadi created a sensation and it kept trending all over. The teaser clocked 50 million views which is a new record in Telugu cinema and among Balakrishna's films. The teaser clocked 50 million views in 16 days of its release which is huge. Balakrishna thrilled his fans and the audience as Aghora in the released teaser. Balakrishna will be seen in a dual role in Akhanda and the film is announced for May 28th release. The release of the film is now pushed and a new release date will be announced soon. Thaman is the music director and Miryala Ravindar Reddy is the producer. Balakrishna will complete the shooting portions soon and will move on to Gopichand Malineni's action entertainer soon.
