Megastar Chiranjeevi is an undisputed king in Telugu cinema from the past four decades. After making his comeback to Tollywood, the actor is busy with several interesting projects. The actor's next film is Acharya and it is directed by Koratala Siva. Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan will be seen in an important role in this social drama that is made on a massive budget. Except for two songs, the entire shoot of Acharya is completed. A song on Chiranjeevi and Charan will be shot in a massive set. The other song will be shot on Charan and Pooja Hegde. There are talks that the film will hit the screens in October during the Dasara holiday season as RRR stands postponed.

But the latest news says that the makers of Acharya are in plans to release the film for Sankranthi 2022. Recently, Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan met to discuss about the same. If Chiranjeevi's Acharya releases for Sankranthi, Pawan Kalyan's Bheemla Nayak will get postponed. Acharya will compete with Prabhas' Radhe Shyam and Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Acharya features Chiranjeevi, Kajal Aggarwal, Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. Matinee Entertainments are the producers and Manisharma is the music director. Both Chiranjeevi and Charan will be seen as Naxalites in this social drama.
