The rest of the film is all about how Devika takes revenge herself without the notice of anyone. Watch MOM to know about the rest.

Analysis

MOM Movie Review, Rating, Story, Cast and Crew

MOM starts on an interesting note and it is the gripping narration that drives the film. Some of the court episodes and the performances by the lead actors make the film convincing. Some of the emotional episodes are heart touching and they will sure make a massive impact. However on the flipside, the plot looks quite outdated and some of the episodes have been shot under the bar.

The second half of MOM too has been interesting but it dips down at several parts. The crime scenes and the investigation episodes bring lot of interest among the audience. Some of the episodes in the second half turn predictable and the pre-climax episodes turn out interesting again. On the whole the second half of MOM has been ok and it should have been dealt better in many aspects.

Performance

Sridevi tops the show with her flawless performance and she makers her presence in each and every frame. Akshay Khanna has been completely dominating during the investigation episodes. Nawazzudin Siddiqui has been impressive in the supporting role and all the other actors delivered out their best with their performances.

The plot of the film has been old fashioned and it has nothing new. The screenplay and the dialogues have been handled well which makes the film look decent. The cinematography has been extremely convincing and it changes as per the film’s mood. AR Rahman’s music and the background score is the major asset for MOM. The production values have been decent and editing has been ok.

Final Word

MOM has some interesting moments but it falls flat because of some poor narrating skills. Sridevi has been flawless with her stupendous performance throughout the movie.
