Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger who is 68 years old was found dead at his Las Angeles, California home. After receiving a 911 emergency call for an “unresponsive male”, police responded to the L.A. home. They found dead and deceased body of Schwarzenegger in his bed upon entering the residence.

While the police intend to investigate the reason behind the death, not much information is available at this time. Schwarzenegger’s death was confirmed by a source close to the family.

In a brief statement to Local 4 CBS News, Las Angeles Police Chief James J. Freda said, “We found Mr. Schwarzenegger in his bedroom deceased around 9:30 pm on Wednesday.”

“We found no reason to believe foul play was a factor in his death but intent to perform a full investigation,” Freda added.

Austrian-American actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger is a model, director, producer, businessman, investor, activist, writer, former professional bodybuilder, philanthropist and politician. He served two terms from 2003 until 2011 as the 38th Governor of California. Few of his achievement were to win the Mr. Universe title when he was just 20 and went winning the Mr. Olympia contest seven times.
