Nandamuri Balakrishna who is called the man of masses inched the 100th film mark and he recently wrapped up in 99 movies in his career. His last movie Dictator was a decent entertainer directed by Sriwass and the movie released for Sankranthi this year. He is now gearing up for his 100th movie which has been officially announced on April 8th on the eve of Ugadi.

The movie has been titled as Gauthamiputra Satakarni and talented director Krish will direct the movie. As per the latest news we hear, Balayya is in grand plans to launch the film in the presence of Tollywood film fraternities on April 22nd in Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. Several prominent film personalities along with the technicians and directors of his previous films will make their presence during the event.

Gauthamiputra Satakarni is said to be a periodic drama and Balayya will be seen in the role of Satakarni in the movie. Balakrishna is currently preparing for the role and he is going through the life story of Satakarni. Nayanathara will play the female lead in the movie and Rajeev Reddy, Sai Babu Jagarlamudi will produce Gauthamiputra Satakarni on First Frame Entertainments banner. The regular shoot of the movie will start from May this year and the movie will hit the screens for Sankranthi 2017.
