Charles Savoy, former basketball standout, aged 24, is hospitalized with serious injuries. Police say that, the former basketball standout, was hit by a car and took off, leaving him to be dead.
As reported by Channel 2 Action News, Charles Savoy’s mother said, he was walking home from work on 15th Jan, 2017, when he was struck on State Bridge Road near the Gwinnett County line.
The accident ripped open the man’s arm, then bled out as he walked about a half-mile before collapsing. He collapsed outside a Whole Foods store. Mother Savoy-Osborne told Channel 2 that, he was basically bleeding out in the street, and was literally dying in the street. A passerby stopped and called 911.

Channel 2 reported, Savoy was a high school basketball standout at Chamblee Charter High School and went on to play college basketball at Tuskegee University in Alabama and Xavier University in Louisiana.
Savoy’s mother hopes that, someone who saw, something about the incident, will call the police.
Savoy-Osbome said, “If you know anything about who stuck my son that night and left him at the scene to die, if you would please come forward”
