Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah, after placing a Greater Nepal map at his office as a replacement for the “Akhand Bharat” mural, demanded Prabhas starer Adipurush filmmakers to correct the mistake about the birthplace of Sita in the film.

The Censor Board of Nepal has also held back the permission of Adipurush for the same reason. Balen Shah warned that until the mistake is corrected, no Indian movie will be exhibited in Nepal. In Adipurush they mentioned “Sita as the daughter of India”, which needs to be corrected, Said Shah.

Adipurush is an epic mythology of Ramayana in Om Raut's direction. T series and Retrophiles produced this big-budget film.
