On its opening day, Animal's global gross collection reached Rs 116 crore. In India alone, the film has grossed Rs 76.1 crore, while overseas it has made Rs 39.9 crore.

In the Delhi NCR region, the film had 1318 screenings, with an impressive occupancy rate of over 79%. In Mumbai, Animal had 1040 screenings, with an occupancy rate of over 55%. In Hyderabad, the film had 316 screenings in Telugu, with an occupancy rate of over 82%. However, in Chennai, the Tamil version of the film only had 88 screenings and an occupancy rate of 30%.

So far this year, the biggest opening day collection belongs to Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, which made Rs 75 crore across India. Currently, the position has been seized by Animal. Following closely behind, Tiger 3 claims the runner-up spot with an impressive first-day collection of Rs 44.50 crores.
