In a thrilling maiden international cricket encounter, the USA triumphed over Pakistan in a Super Over showdown at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas. Serving as the bowler for Pakistan, Mohammad Amir struggled, spraying the ball erratically and conceding 19 runs, including seven wide deliveries. However, USA's Saurabh Netravalkar maintained his composure, delivering a flawless over and claiming the wicket of Iftikhar Ahmed, securing a five-run victory for the USA. After winning the toss and opting to field first, the USA bowlers managed to limit Pakistan to 159/7 in their 20-over innings. With the scores tied, Nitish Kumar's boundary off the final ball leveled the match. Earlier, Indian-American batsman Monank Patel scored a half-century, his first in T20Is, leading the USA's batting charge, while Andries Gous contributed a valuable 35 runs. The pair were cruising towards the target when Pakistan struck back in quick succession.

Despite the early setbacks, Pakistan managed to keep the game alive. After losing the toss and being asked to bat first, they got off to a shaky start, losing three quick wickets within the powerplay. However, a partnership between Shadab Khan and captain Babar Azam helped stabilize the innings temporarily. But the US bowlers fought back, removing the set batters and putting Pakistan on the back foot. Shaheen Shah Afridi's late cameo helped Pakistan reach a competitive total. Among the US bowlers, Noshtush Kenjige was the standout performer, taking three wickets, while Saurabh Netravalkar, Ali Khan, and Jasdeep Singh also chipped in with wickets.
