OnePlus 15, which is said to be the next version of last year's OnePlus 13, has apparently appeared on a certification site before its eagerly awaited release. The supposed listing shows the charging speed for the upcoming phone. Recent leaks imply that the OnePlus 15 could come with this year’s top-tier Snapdragon processor. The device has also been seen on the Geekbench benchmarking site, suggesting information about its performance. Even though the phone may have a camera setup similar to the OnePlus 13, the company is believed to be adding its own image processing technology. A OnePlus phone, identified by the model number CPH2747, has been found on the IECEE certification website. XpertPick reports that this model number corresponds to the upcoming OnePlus 15. The device has allegedly been listed with a 121W charger, indicating that it might allow for 120W fast charging. If this turns out to be accurate, it would be a notable enhancement compared to its expected predecessor, which can only do 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Earlier, it was thought that the OnePlus 15 would only have 100W fast charging capability like its predecessor, but this new information changes that view. Previous leaks also suggest that this phone might include a battery of 7,000mAh or bigger. In contrast, the OnePlus 13 was released with a 6,000mAh battery. The OnePlus 15 was recently seen on the Geekbench site with a different model number, PLK110. It seems the phone was tested with an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip, which features six efficiency cores (3.63GHz) and two performance cores (4.61GHz). This aligns with earlier leaks that mentioned the OnePlus 15 being supported by a Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC, expected to be the brand's next top chip. In comparison, the OnePlus 13 uses a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip combined with an Adreno 830 GPU, and has up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage.
Even though the phone may include an improved processor, battery, and charging capabilities, reports indicate that it could feature the same 50-megapixel three-camera setup as the OnePlus 13. However, the Chinese smartphone company is rumored to implement a unique image processing engine for the first time, instead of the Hasselblad camera system used previously. Additionally, the design of the rear camera area may shift to a square shape, changing from the circular design used in older OnePlus models.
