Elon Musk Named In New Epstein Files

Tech mogul Elon Musk has been mentioned in the controversial Jeffrey Epstein documents, along with other notable individuals such as Bill Gates and Trump supporter Steve Bannon. The latest set of a six-page document, revealed by Democratic politicians, contains a schedule indicating a possible visit by the Tesla founder to Epstein's island in the US Virgin Islands on December 6, 2014, where many women reported experiencing abuse. A note on the itinerary next to Musk's name asked, "Is this still happening?" However, the documents do not clarify if Musk actually went on the trip. Musk has rejected these allegations, stating, "This is false" in a post on X. The released copies of Epstein's schedule also included a breakfast meeting planned with Steve Bannon, a prominent ally of Donald Trump, on February 16, 2019. Additionally, there was a mention of a possible breakfast with Bill Gates on December 5, 2014.

The Democratic politicians have also urged the US Justice Department to make all the Epstein documents from its investigation public. The Trump administration has denied the existence of a "client list," countering longstanding conspiracy theories that Epstein was blackmailing influential people, including powerful Democrats. Musk has criticized the Trump administration since a report suggested that Trump had written a birthday card to Epstein in 2003. In a now-deleted message, he claimed that Trump’s name was included in the Epstein documents, hinting that this was the reason the papers had not been released. The Tesla founder later acknowledged that his post "went too far." After resigning from his position leading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) following a dispute with Trump, Musk made several harsh comments directed at the Republican leader for not disclosing the Epstein files. In a post on X, he queried, "Are there likely to be electronic records in any government or commercial computers that show who flew on Epstein's plane to the US Virgin Islands?"

In another message, Musk urged the US President to release the documents connected to the sex offender, as he had promised. "Seriously. He mentioned ‘Epstein’ several times while telling everyone to stop discussing Epstein. Just release the documents as committed," he stated.
