RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said that nobody should be forced to say ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’, a day after saying that “we want the whole world to chant Bharat Mata ki Jai.”
According to a statement issued by RSS affiliate Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, Bhagwat said, “We have to create so great an India that people will themselves say Bharat Mata ki Jai. We don’t need to force it on anybody. We have to give direction to the world with our life. There is no need to force our system and thoughts on anyone; there should be a desire to consider the whole world as ours.”
RSS chief spoke at a inaugural function of a building intended to accommodate Sangh offices. Public were not allowed to the function. Bhagwat said, “In order to get the whole world to say Bharat Mata ki Jai, the ideals and achievements of life will have to be built before the world for inspiration. The Sangh has undertaken the enterprise of building the best life.”
Earlier on Sunday, the RSS cheif said at aa book launch in Kolkata that, “We want the whole world to chant Bharat Mata ki Jai. We want to make Bharat rich, free from exploitation and full of self-respect. For that we will have to live that Bharat in our lives.”
The building is named Rajju Bhaiya Smriti Bhawan. It is named after former RSS sarsanghchalak, Rajendra Singh alias Rajju Bhaiya.
