Deepika Padukone has called off her trip to Paris because of limited flights connected to the ongoing conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran. The Bollywood star, who represents Louis Vuitton internationally, was scheduled to be in the French city for an event. Unfortunately, her flight was canceled at the last minute, leading her to withdraw from attending. A source close to Deepika informed Mid-Day, “Initially, she was set to go. She had chosen her outfits and started fittings. But her flight was one of many that got canceled recently. Also, because the conflict is intensifying and affecting numerous countries in West Asia, she thought about whether it was a good time for her to travel. ”

For those who don't know, Deepika Padukone was named the Indian ambassador for Louis Vuitton in 2022. So far, her team has not released any statement about her canceled Paris visit. On another note, in her upcoming projects, Deepika Padukone is set to work again with Shah Rukh Khan in the film King. This movie features Shah Rukh's daughter, Suhana Khan, in a leading role. It has been reported that they filmed a significant scene during the Vijayadashami festivities in Mumbai. To create the right atmosphere, the production team built a large set that reflected the excitement and scale of a festive parade. Reports mentioned that they worked on this scene over eight nights. During this segment, Suhana performed various action stunts, suggesting she has an action-oriented character in the film. King is scheduled to release in theaters on December 24, 2026.
